Conservation Council of NC Foundation has worked for almost 40 years to turn your environmental values into North Carolina priorities.  From our beaches to our mountains, North Carolinians know how important our natural landscapes are to our families, communities, and economy.

Many of the important decisions affecting our air, water, land, and the health of our communities are made by elected officials.  So one of the most important things we can do to protect our environment is to affect the outcome of those decisions.  Conservation Council keeps you informed about pending issues at the General Assembly and gives you the tools to make your voice heard.

We work to engage and educate North Carolina voters and decision-makers on how we can protect North Carolina's water, air, special places, and the health of our communities and economy.  We promote active and responsible citizenship to address the environmental challenges facing North Carolina.

We work closely with our sister advocacy organization, the Conservation Council of North Carolina, to advocate for stronger environmental policies at the state legislature.  We also work with the national League of Conservation Voters Education Fund to leverage North Carolina voices in the national environmental policy debate.  

Together, we work to pass laws to protect the air you breathe, water you drink, and the health of the community in which you live.
